“It is not about what you have, but knowing the value of what you have…”

Salvaging and recycling is an act of appreciating what we have

The concept of salvaging and recycling exists from the largest to the smallest scale through out our world. From stardust to the formation of life, to the bacteria and organisms that transform excrement back into soil, the concept of trash has never existed until we invented it.

We choose to salvage whenever we are able to, and there is abundance when we do. All it takes is some time and human energy.

In a culture of waste, we fill an ecological niche, allowing us to get most of our resources for very little cost, often for free.

  • Teardowns

In America there is a standing ancient forest hidden in the form of old houses and barns. Tearing down these structures makes a great source of high quality construction materials. It is a shrinking renewable resource as more and more of these structures are bulldozed and burned down only to be replaced with houses made of modern spongy wood and toxic materials.

  • Salvaged Construction Materials

Our materials for our projects are mostly paid for or free. Salvaged materials can also be sold or be a great source of low cost asset to use for bartering and trading.

  • Pallets

Pallets are everywhere, they are easily accessible and modular, making it easy to design and build with.
